Meet the Team
John L. Tumminia, D.D.S.
At the age of 13, Dr. Tumminia and his family relocated to Boca Raton from Long Island, NY. He earned his D.M.D. from Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine in 2002. Dr. Tumminia has been in private practice at Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental since his graduation and also works for the Palm Beach County Health Department. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and South Palm Beach County Dental Association. Dr. Tumminia is a board member of the Atlantic coast Dental Research Clinic which provides continuing education to fellow practitioners, and he volunteers monthly at the Caridad Health Clinic which provides free dental care to uninsured and poor working families.
Dr. Tumminia is dedicated to providing the best possible care for his patients while keeping their concerns a top priority. He continually enrolls in advanced dental education classes which he feels is one of the most important aspects of providing excellent patient care.
A dedicated family man, Dr. Tumminia enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children. He is an avid soccer and Nascar fan.
Kenneth R. Begnoche, D.M.D.
Dr. Begnoche is a Florida native, having been born in Melbourne and residing in Boynton Beach, since the age of one. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Laura, and they have been blessed with two beautiful children.
Dr. Begnoche earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1996. He graduated as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He is a past president of the South Palm Beach County Dental Association, which includes over 300 dentist members from Lantana to Boca Raton. He is also a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, International Team for Implantology and Spear Study Club. He passionately pursues continuing education in order to stay up on the latest materials and techniques which help him better serve his patients.
Dr. Begnoche’s professional goal is to treat every patient with the expertise, kindness and understanding that will help them achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.
Dr. Begnoche’s hobbies include enjoying time with his family – fishing, surfing, jet skiing, water skiing and paddleboarding.
Paul E. Klein, D.D.S.
With 38 years of experience, Dr. Klein is a respected dental practitioner of cosmetic and adhesive dental procedures. He has devoted most of his career to Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental, P.A. where he performs a combination of administrative and clinical tasks. Dr. Klein considers working with his hands to be the most enjoyable aspect of his profession. He attributes his success to his integrity and communication skills. He has been teaching courses for continuing education to his fellow dentists and dental hygienists for over 35 years at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic and also lecturing locally to both dentists and hygienists. The subjects of his courses include general dentistry and dental pharmacology. He has been an adjunct professor of Dental Pharmacology for 7 years at Palm Beach State College.
When not working or teaching, he likes spending his time with his wife, Carole, playing golf, swimming, skiing, going to movies and exercising. He has three married children and seven grandchildren. Dr. Klein also tries to spend as much of his spare time as possible enjoying his grandchildren.
Dr. Klein received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and a Masters of Education from the University of Miami. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in 1975. He is a Fellow of both the Academy of General Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. Additionally, he is affiliated with the South Palm Beach County Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, American Dental Association and the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic where he served as president in 1990-91, 2002-03 and 2008-10. Dr Klein was named a 2010-2011 Professional of the Year in dentistry by Cambridge Who’s Who.
Dawn was born in Miami and raised in Lake Worth, FL. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Multinational Business Operations. After several years as a stay-at-home mom, she came to work for Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia as a Patient Coordinator and has been with them for eleven years. She is the proud mom of a 15 year old daughter. Dawn enjoys church activities, spending time with family and friends, and all the perks of living in south Florida.
"My mission is to help meet all of our patients’ dental needs with personalized care, sincerity, efficiency and maybe a laugh or two. I truly enjoy working with the entire staff and I’m proud to be a member of this team."
Michele was born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 2005. She has worked in the dental field for over twenty years. She has held many positions such as receptionist, expanded functions dental assistant and office manager. When not at work, Michele enjoys horseback riding, boating and spending time with her fiancé and English bulldogs.
Cathy moved to Florida from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2002. She is married with two teenage boys, Camden and Canaan and a Chihuahua named Rosie. With a background in hotel management, Cathy has the gift of hospitality and greets our patients with a cheerful welcome. She has been a patient coordinator in the dental field for eleven years, six of them with Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental.

A Midwest girl at heart, originally from Chicago, Gail has been a hygienist with Dr. Klein for 22 years. She is a devoted wife, mother of two young men and a diehard Gator mom. Gail enjoys travelling, cooking, gardening and watching college basketball.
Building relationships with her patients and educating them on the relationship between their oral health and overall health are what Gail loves most about her career.
Dinah was born in the Philippines and moved to Florida in 1988. She graduated from the University of the East with a degree in Dentistry. She has been with Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental since 1998. Her enthusiasm for dentistry helped many future hygienists and dental assistants over a 14 year span while she was an instructor at the Palm Beach State College. Dinah is married and has three beautiful daughters and a dog. Her eldest is pursuing her post graduate studies, the younger two are a sophomore and freshman in college. Dinah enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Her goal is to provide good oral health to patients with the best individualized treatment using modern technology in a loving and caring environment. Dinah says, "It is a privilege to work with Drs. Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia and to be a part of a great team. I love treating, educating and interacting with my patients, but the best part is the smile and compliments I get from them... especially when they say, "I love my hygienist!""
Patty graduated from Tallahassee State College in 1990. She has been an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association for the last 24 years. She held a board position for eight years with the Palm Beach County Dental Hygiene Association. Patty has worked with Drs. Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia for 15 years. She looks forward to seeing her patients and treating each one on an individual basis. She is committed to helping them achieve total body health by educating them on the importance of dental health.
Patty has been married for almost 17 years and has two daughters. Her hobbies include swimming, jogging and watching her daughters play soccer. She enjoys watching college football and is a diehard Florida State University Seminole fan.
Julie was born and raised in Surrey, England and moved to the USA after marrying her husband and becoming a military wife. She finally settled in Florida and has raised two children who are currently in college.
Julie became a patient here at Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental fourteen years ago. Her experience inspired her to become a dental hygienist. She has been employed here for the past six years.
Julie strives to make each and every patient’s experience as positive as hers was!
Angela was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She received her dental assisting education from the Pratt Institute in 1992. Angela’s first experience in dentistry was in the dental section at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, she has added Certified Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and CPR/BLS training to her functions. Angela has been in the dental field over twenty-two years and the last seven have been with Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental.
Angela is married with three children and two grandchildren. Her passion for dentistry stems from the gratifying knowledge that her patients genuinely appreciate the care she gives to them. "The best part of my day is having the personal bonding with our patients. I also enjoy learning about new dental technology and materials and knowing how they provide better care in more efficient ways. I am so proud to be a part of the Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental practice!"
Gwen graduated from Palm Beach State College with an Associates of Arts and a Certificate in Dental Assisting. Gwen’s passion for dentistry stems from the positive encouragement from Dr. Klein when she was a high school student working on the weekends at a local golf club. Dr. Klein’s suggestion twenty years ago to try the dental field led to a life-changing choice. Now, after sixteen years in the dental field, it’s wonderful to be working chair side with Drs. Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia. "Being part of a team that is committed to their patients, continuous learning and keeping up with the advancing technology is such a blessing."
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Lori has lived in Boca Raton for the past 30 years. She graduated from Palm Beach State College twenty-five years ago when she began her career in the dental field. She has been with Klein, Begnoche & Tumminia Dental for the past fourteen years.
Lori enjoys golf, boating and working out at the gym.

Born in Colombia, Vanessa moved to the U.S. in 1998. She began her career in pediatric dentistry in 2006 and then came to Klein, Begnoche and Tumminia Dental in 2008. Her sweet disposition and contagious laugh are treasured by her coworkers and patients alike. Outside of work, every spare moment is spent with the loves of her life, her husband and two daughters.
